नमस्कार, तुम्हाला सगळ्यांना मकर संक्रांतीच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा ! संक्रांत म्हणजे स्थित्यंतर ! सूर्याचे उत्तरायण आजपासून सुरू होते ! आपल्या आकाशगंगेच्या महत्त्वाच्या बदलातील एक क्षण म्हणजे ही संक्रांत !! आज देशातही असंच स्थित्यंतर सुरू आहे. सुप्रीम कोर्टाच्या जजेसनी अभूतपूर्व अशी पत्रकार परिषद घेऊन या देशातली लोकशाही वाचवायची साद लोकांना घातलीय. ज्यांच्याकडे न्यायाची अपेक्षा घेऊन सामान्य माणूस जातो त्यांनीच न्याय मिळावा म्हणून लोकशाहितल्या सर्वशक्तिमान न्यायालयाला, म्हणजे जनतेला आवाहन केलेय. जगभरात या घटनेला भारतीय लोकशाहीचा आक्रोश म्हणून पाहिलं जातंय. अश्या काळात, इथल्या मनुवादी हुकूमशाही प्रवृत्तीच्या विरोधात निर्णायक लढाई लढण्याची जबाबदारी आपल्या सगळ्यांवर येऊन पडते. आजपासून सुरू होणारा हा माझा ब्लॉग त्याच लढाईचा माझ्यापरीने छोटासा पण निर्धारपूर्वक सुरू झालेला भाग आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांचे केंद्रात सरकार येऊन आता पावणेचार वर्ष झाली. पुढच्या वर्षी या दिवशी निवडणुकांचे नगारे जोराने वाजू लागलेले असतील. पण, एक नागरिक म्हणून आपणच हा प्रश्न विचारला पाहिजे की ह्या पावणेचार वर्षांत नेमकं काय झालं ? ज्या आशेने मोदींच्या ‘अच्छे दिन’च्या आवाहनाला देशाने एकमुखी प्रतिसाद दिला होता त्याचा सन्मान ठेवला गेला का ? मी मागच्याच आठवड्यात माजी केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री आणि वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेते यशवंत सिन्हा यांची एक मुलाखत बघत होते. जे मागच्या सहा महिन्यांपासून केवळ माझ्या आणि राष्ट्रवादी पक्षाच्या सगळ्या सहका-यांच्याच नव्हे तर लाखो लोकांच्या मनात आहे ते सिन्हा साहेबांनी नेमक्या शब्दांत मांडलंय. ते म्हणाले, “Mandate of 2014 has been wasted completely.” म्हणजे 2014 च्या जनाधाराला या सरकारने पूर्णतः फुकट घालवले आहे. खरंतर, 2014 ला देशात आलेले सरकार हे त्याआधीच्या 30 वर्षांतले पहिले पूर्ण बहुमताने आलेले सरकार होते. राजीवजी गांधी यांना इंदिराजींच्या हत्येनंतर प्रचंड बहुमत मिळालं होतं. आणि ह्याच बहुमताच्या विश्वासावर राजीवजींनी 21 व्या शतकाकडे जाणाऱ्या आधुनिक, बलशाली भारताचं स्वप्न पाहिलं होतं. याच स्वप्नाचा एक भाग म्हणून त्यांनी ह्या देशात संगणक क्रांतीचा पाया घातला. पुढच्या अवघ्या 15 वर्षांत मुळातच मेहनती आणि जिद्दी असणाऱ्या भारतीय तरुणांनी जगासमोर हा देश आयटी सुपरपॉवर म्हणून उभा केला. याला म्हणतात व्हिजन आणि त्या व्हिजनच्या दिशेने केलेली अंमलबजावणी ! आज आपणाला काय दिसतं ? 2014 च्या जनाधाराच्या जोरावर मोदींनी भारताला कसलं व्हिजन दाखवलं ? अश्या कुठल्या योजना आणल्या ज्यांच्यामुळे भारताच्या विकासाला हातभार लागला ? एक योजना उदाहरण म्हणून बघूया. या सरकारने ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ आणली. म्हणजे फक्त घोषणा केली. मी चाकणच्या परिसरात अधूनमधून जात असते. एकेकाळी ऑटोमोबाईल उद्योगासाठी लागणा-या सुट्या पार्ट्सच्या निर्मितीसाठी हा भाग ओळखला जाई. आज इथे जीवघेणा सन्नाटा आहे. शेकडोंच्या नोक-या इथे गेल्या. डबल शिफ्टमध्ये चालणारे मध्यम दर्जाचे उद्योग बंद पडले. हे यांच्या ‘मेक इन इंडिया’चं खरं चित्र आहे. हे ‘मेक इन’ नाही, ‘ब्रेक इन इंडिया’ आहे. भारताच्या विकासाला लागलेला हा ब्रेक आहे. जी स्थिती उद्योगांची आहे त्याहून भयानक स्थिती ही शेतीक्षेत्राची आहे. नुकतेच आमच्या पक्षाचे हल्लाबोल आंदोलन पार पडले. यवतमाळ ते नागपूर हे 150 किलोमीटरचे अंतर आम्ही सर्व सहकारी चालत होतो. राज्यात मागच्या 3 वर्षात जवळपास 10 हजार शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या झाल्यात. सगळ्यात जास्त आत्महत्या ह्या यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यात झाल्यात. आम्ही जेव्हा या यात्रेत चालत होतो तेव्हा ठिकठिकाणी शेकडोंच्या संख्येने लोक सहभागी होत होते. कापसाला लागलेली बोन्ड अळी आणि राज्य सरकारचं त्याकडे झालेलं पूर्ण दुर्लक्ष आम्ही पाहिलं. पिकांवर फवारायच्या औषधाने 37 लोक गेले. हे भयंकर आहे. आणि अजूनही याला जबाबदार असणाऱ्या अधिका-यांवर काहीही ठोस कारवाई झालेली नाही. अस्मानीपेक्षा सुलतानी संकट आपल्यावर येऊ नये म्हणून प्रार्थना करणारा मराठवाडा आणि विदर्भातला कास्तकार आम्ही बघतोय. ह्या सरकारला खरंतर एकही क्षण सत्तेवर रहायचा अधिकार उरला नाहीये ही त्या कास्तकारांचीच भावना आहे. अश्या या अनागोंदीनंतर देशाचा विकासदर घसरेल नाहीतर काय ? यावर्षीचा भारताचा विकासदर हा 6.5 टक्के असेल असा अंदाज आहे. 3 वर्षात ही जवळपास 2 टक्क्यांची घसरण आहे. एकीकडे जगभरात पुन्हा एकदा देशोदेशीच्या अर्थव्यवस्था मजबूत होऊ लागलेल्या असताना भारतात मात्र उलटी स्थिती आहे. मंदी आहे ! आणि त्याला केंद्र आणि राज्य सरकारांची धोरणं जबाबदार आहेत. आज देशात कुठलाही मोठा उद्योजक गुंतवणूक करायलाच तयार नाही. तुम्ही बघा, महाराष्ट्रात मागच्या 3 वर्षात एकही मोठा उद्योग आला नाही. भरघोस अशी गुंतवणूक झालेली नाही. उलट लोकांना आयटी असो, बँकिंग असो किंवा अगदी पॉवर सेक्टर असो, या सगळीकडे नोक-या गमवाव्या लागल्या. आपण हाही विचार केला पाहिजे की असं का होतंय ? याला दोन महत्वाची कारणं आहेत असं मला वाटतं. एक म्हणजे सरकारची फसलेली धोरणं. आपण मेक इन इंडियाबद्दल बघितलं. नोटबंदीचा निर्णय आणि जीएसटीची चुकीची अंमलबजावणी यांनी...

The appealants are those who are expected to deliver justice to every common man and woman of this great democracy in the highest court of law. But even they have now appealed to the people of this country, the most powerful court of India. The world is watching these events as an angst of Indian democracy. At this time, we all have the responsibility to fight the decisive battle against this Manuwadi authoritarian regime. Starting today, this blog from me will be a small but determined part of this battle.Almost three and half years have passed since the people of this great country elected the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. Next year, on this day, the election ball would have set rolling. But as a citizen of this nation, we must ask one critical question. What have we really achieved in the last three and half years? The manner in which Modiji’s call for ‘Acche Din’ was received by the people was astounding, but did the government subsequently show any respect towards the people’s sentiments?Last week, I happened to stumble upon a television interview of former Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha. He articulated in precise words, what not only me and my other colleagues within the NCP but millions of Indians have been feeling largely. He said, “Mandate of 2014 has been wasted completely.”In 2014, the country received its first government with absolute majority for the first time in the last 30 years. Following the murder of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi attained power with an unprecedented majority. It was this power which became the stepping stone for Rajivji’s vision to take India towards the 21st century, transforming it into a pragmatic powerhouse of the world. As a part of his vision he laid the foundation of the digital revolution in this country. Using this foundation, the Indian youth with their in-built hardworking capability and stubbornness projected India as an IT superpower to the world. This is called foresight and ingenious implementation of policies to fulfill the vision.What is in store for us today? Which vision did Modiji show with his massive public support of 2014? Which are the schemes that he introduced to propel India’s development?Let’s examine one of his schemes as an example. Make in India! The fact is that it has been nothing but only an announcement. I often visit Chakan industrial area in Pune district. Once upon a time, this area with bustling activity was well-known for the production of complex components for the automobile industry. Today, the deafening silence will take your breath away. Hundreds have lost their jobs. Medium scale industry, earlier working on double shifts, is closed. This is the real picture of Modiji’s Make in India. This is not Make in India, but ‘Brake’ in India. This government has applied brakes to India’s development.Agriculture is affected far worse than the industrial sector. Recently, I along with all my colleagues in the Nationalist Congress Party walked from Yavatmal to Nagpur, covering over 150 kilometers. This was a part of our ‘Halla Bol’ agitation against the government and its anti-people policies. Maharashtra has witnessed over 10,000 farmer suicides in the last 3 years. Sadly, Yavatmal tops the chart. Hundreds of citizens joined us at different stages of our protest. We witnessed the pink bollworm pest destroying the cotton crop and the state government’s absolute neglect. 37 farmers have lost their lives due to pesticides. This is horrible. And yet, no firm action has been taken against the responsible officers. We are seeing...
