Some communities including Dhangars, Marathas, Lingayats, Muslims are constantly demanding Reservation in the state of Maharashtra. MP Supriya Sule has repeatedly raised her voice in Parliament in this regard. In the Parliament and through various media channels, Supriya Sule has often advocated that these communities should get separate and fair reservation without altering the share of existing reserved categories. She also laid emphasis on the fact that Dhangar and Dhangad are the same and it's merely a pronunciation difference. Hence, the recommendation made by the Hrishikesh Panda Committee appointed by the Central Government should consider this and give reservation to the Dhangar community. MP Supriya Sule has taken this stance multiple times in the Parliament.
Consistent Voice for Reservation in Parliament

#Parliamentwintersession

10.12.2019
Spoke on The Constitution (126th Amendment) Bill, 2019. Questioned the Centre on why no study was undertaken to ascertain how reservation has benefited SC/ST and backward classes. Recommended Centre to take holistic approach to what can be done to improve the socio economic status of backward classes to that of general category. Questioned the Centre on why our Anglo Indians are excluded from reservation, while we are opening our borders for minorities from other countries.
Urged the Centre to extend reservation in Legislature to Anglo Indian community too. In spirit of federalism recommended Centre to undertake consultations with States and stakeholders before drafting legislation.

MP Supriya Sule on Statutory resolution on Jammu and Kashmir (Reorganization) Bill, 2019.
06.08.2019
Spoke during discussion on Statutory resolution on Jammu & Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir (Reorganization) Bill, 2019.
461 division number belonged to Shri Farooq Abdullah and the discussion will be incomplete without him...
lack of connection with people in J&K to rest of India, increased security;
J&K- most beautiful state in the country;
1986 letter of Shri Sheikh Abdullah to then PM Shri Shastri- dilution of Article 370;
GST- applicable to all of India- exception of applicability to J&K is selectively used..
If we can apply income and GST to J&K, then why didn't we include RTE and made it applicable to J&K;
Similar literacy rates across states - even in states where RTE is implemented- so the Minister's argument of likelihood of increase in literacy in J&K since RTE will now be applicable is questionable, as J&K now has literacy rates similar to other states where RTE is applicable..
Why not debate, discuss instead of imposing curfew;
On jobs in tourism- does Centre have a plan to protect ecosystem of Kashmir? To promote employment;
Aim must be to promote better life for people of J&K and not acquisition of land..
Nagaland- different/ unique- applies to J&K also- then why special provisions for Naga and different provision for J&K?;
Since there is no Assembly in J&K- will it stand Judicial scrutiny..
Questioned the Centre on following issues-
Why reorganise J&K into two UTs?;
When will state elections be conducted?
Why doesn't Ledhak have Assembly?
Why did the Governor mislead the Nation saying that there won't be any changes to Article 370?..
