[The Indian Express]Supriya Sule Demands All-Party Meet Amid West Asia Crisis
NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule criticised the government in the Lok Sabha, questioning the value of announcing schemes in the Budget if they are not implemented. Sule said that several promises made by the government remain unfulfilled, including the plan to replace imported ammonia with green ammonia, which she said has seen little progress. Raising concerns about the global situation, Sule also called for an immediate all-party meeting to discuss the implications of the ongoing conflict in West Asia and its potential impact on India's economy. She further asked the government to clarify its position on the new trade measures announced by U.S. President Donald Trump and how they could affect India's trade and economic interests. Urging political unity in a time of global crisis, Sule said parties should set aside differences — similar to the cooperation seen during Operation Sindoor — and come together to address the challenges facing the country. She also called for diplomatic efforts to ensure that the war comes to an end.
