Supriya Sule's Explosive Parliament Speech 'I'm A Mother Too' Over Paper Leaks

NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule delivered a fiery speech in the Lok Sabha during the debate on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026. Taking on the government, Sule criticised Union Minister Pralhad Joshi's conduct in the House and said she had never witnessed a Cabinet Minister arguing with the Speaker in her two decades as an MP. In one of the most emotional moments of her speech, Sule said, "I am a mother too," highlighting the pain, anxiety and uncertainty faced by students and parents due to repeated paper leaks. She also mocked the ruling benches for using Gen Z slang like "delulu", urging them to focus on real issues affecting students instead. Sule questioned contradictions between the 2024 and 2026 versions of the anti-paper leak law, defended herself against attacks over political dynasty by proudly identifying herself as Sharad Pawar's daughter, and warned that young voters would give their verdict in the 2029 general elections.
